Neusoft to Set up 3rd R&D Base in Wuhan, China

Neusoft Corporation (Neusoft) announced that it would set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Wuhan and build a Southern R&D base which would be the 3rd R&D base of Neusoft in China after Shenyang and Dalian, as part of the strategic layout based on the demands of future development and the judgment of the market prospect.

As the core city of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and a comprehensive innovation and reform pilot area, Wuhan has abundant talent reserve and supply. At present, Wuhan is speeding up its development as a national central city featured by the national economic center, high-level science and technology innovation center, trade logistics center and international exchange center.

Neusoft will make full use of Wuhan’s advantages in industrial ecosystem and policy, high-end talent reserve and transportation location, promote the gathering of science and technology innovation industries, and enhance the innovation ability, so as to form the industrial cluster and ecology. Therefore, Neusoft will set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Wuhan and purchase land to invest in the development of science and technology industrial park, which will also accommodate the southern R&D base of Neusoft.

After the completion of the R&D base, Neusoft will take this opportunity, based on the stable development of existing businesses, to actively expand the business in the south of the Yangtze River with Wuhan as the focus, continuously deepen its development in the fields of smart cities, medical and healthcare, intelligent vehicle connectivity, etc., and lay a comprehensive and sustainable foundation for the company’s future strategic growth.

Southern R&D Base of Neusoft will be invested and built by the newly established Wuhan Subsidiary. It is planned to purchase about 100,000 m2 of land with a total floor area of not less than 50,000 m2.
