Well-known U.S. expert in computer memory technology hopes for a cooperation with Neusoft

In the morning of Oct. 19, via introduction of officials from Shenyang Foreign Experts Administration Bureau, the technology experts from Neusoft Solution Verification and Validation Center met the well-known US expert in computer memory technology-Dr. Yang Qing and his party at the conference room of Shenyang Municipal government. During their friendly talk, Neusoft technology experts gave a detailed account of the functions of Neusoft Solution Verification and Validation Center and their current knowledge of computer memory technology. Dr. Yang gave an introduction of his present patents in computer memory technology, and expressed his hope for future cooperation with Neusoft. Dr. Yang said that computer memory technology has currently been extensively applied in the industries of finance and insurance, while it is still urgently needed in some medical industries. Knowing of Neusoft's e-hospital solution, he hoped for a deep cooperation with Neusoft in this field.

Director Zhao Hongtao of Foreign Experts Administration Bureau of Liaoning Province, vice director Zhang Xinguang of Shenyang Foreign Experts Administration Bureau were present at meeting. On his visit to Shenyang, Dr. Yang Qing was interviewed by deputy mayor Li Yuhuan of Shenyang and other government officials.

Dr. Yang Qing has achieved outstanding feats in the field of computer system architecture and is one of the authoritative scholars of computer cache memory technology. He was guest editor of the cache memory fascicle of the well-known academic journal IEEE, and holds the post of chairman for several international computer academic conferences. After taking his post at the University of Rhode Island his research has since been funded by U.S. National Fund of Science. He has published more than 60 high-level thesis on international first-class academic journals and conferences, completed many important inventions and has many patents, which has earned him international renown. His achievements have been recognized by the U.S. National Fund and he got award from U.S.government for his outstanding achievement. In the past ten years, he has achieved important feats in the research of computer memory technology and was invited to be a senior consultant by several large international companies. He was also invited to be a guest professor by Huanzhong University of Science and Technology(the former Huanzhong University of Technology), part-time professor by Northeastern University and research fellow by Hefei Parallel Computation Center. He was also invited to give lectures at Tsinghua University, China University of Science and Technology, National University of Defense Technology, Northeastern University, Northwestern Polytechnic University, and Taiji Institute of Computing.
