----Neusoft Solution Forum 2002 (Sanya) Grandly Opened

On Nov.2, the curtain on the Neusoft Solution Sanya Forum was raised in the beautiful city of Sanya in Hainan Province. More than 500 people including officials from China Software Industry Association, customer representatives, experts and higher executives from international well-known enterprises as well as Chinese enterprises gathered together to contribute their wisdom to the development of China's future software solution to share and explore the experiences and lessons in China's information construction and to jointly chart the blueprint for the future of China's software solution. President Wang Yongfeng of Neusoft Co., Ltd. gave the welcome address at the opening ceremony, and vice governor Wang Houhong of Hainan Province and director-general Chen Chong of China Software Industry Association also gave speeches at the opening ceremony of the forum.

The three-day Neusoft Solution Forum is composed of two theme forums of Neusoft Solution Forum Summit Dialogue and Information Security/Mobile Business, and eight industry sub-forums including government information construction, e-business, education, telecommunication, and social insurance, which covered the popular topics in current China's software solution market. Leaders of IT business circles, experts from different trades as well as client representatives gave speeches and in-depth insight into the challenges and opportunities facing China's solution market. After the opening ceremony, the summit dialogue became the focus attention of this forum, which has attracted high executives from IBM、INTEL、ORACLE、SUN, IDC、EMC、CISCO、China Unicom、Haier Group and Neusoft. The theme of the summit dialogue is that attitude, competence and method are the key factors to the success of solutions. Through two hours of lively dialogue, the participants reached an agreement that competence, service and customer-oriented organization systems are the three fundamental factors to the success of solutions. Firstly, in terms of competence, solution is an integration of hardware products with R&D competence and also an integration of IT core technology with the client's application model; and therefore, solution providers should not only possess core technology, but also have an accurate and dynamic understanding of the core business of industry clients. Secondly, in terms of service, it is the extension of solution. Consultation, development, implementation, training and maintenance together with solutions form a complete value chain. And it is only through the process of service that solutions truly create values for the customers. Thirdly, solution providers need to build customer-oriented organization systems in order to offer better and more convenient services, support, and training.

At the forum on information security and mobile business held in the afternoon, technology experts from CA、CISCO、NAI、IDC、NOKIA as well as Neusoft expounded on the subject of the current situation and prospect of information security market both at home and abroad, the application of network administrator, storage and disaster-tolerance in security systems, and the application of mobile business technology in information construction, demonstrating through their discussion the fast pace of technological development to all the attendees of the forum. Eight sub-forum on telecommunication, electric power, enterprise e-business, finance, social insurance, education, e-government(including taxation), health and Medicare will be held on Nov. 3. in the hopes of further understanding the diversified needs of the clients and to develop solutions that truly solve problems for our clients.
