Dr. Liu Jiren was Awarded 2014 International Friendship Award

(BARCELONA, Spain, October 27, 2014) Dr. Liu Jiren, Chairman and CEO of Neusoft Corporation, attended the International Friendship Award Ceremony and “Meeting the New Demands for Change during Globalization” Dialogue held at IESE campus in Barcelona, Spain on October 27. Dr. Liu, as one of the award winners, was recognized for his fruitful and long-term commitment to R&D and education for global high-value information technology service. There are totally 9 award recipients, including other China’s renowned entrepreneurs, such as Mr. Liu Qiangdong, Founder of JD.com, and Ms. Yang Lan, Co-founder and Chairperson of Sun Media Group, etc.

The “International Friendship Award” aims to acknowledge the achievements and contributions of entrepreneurs to social progress, and to promote entrepreneurial spirit across the world. Especially in recent years, China’s private entrepreneurs have made significant contributions to the economic globalization. The award winners are nominated and selected based on the degree of global value creation, world-class governance, and international reputation. The judging panel was composed of Professor Pedro Nueno, emeritus professor of entrepreneurship at IESE, and chairman of the Academic Council of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), and an international team comprising thought and industry leaders from government, corporate and universities.
