Neusoft Becomes the First PCMM Level 5 Certified Chinese Company

SHENYANG, China, Aug. 1, 2011 -- According to the recent announcement on the official website of Software Engineering Institute (SEI), Carnegie Mellon University of the United States, Neusoft Corporation ("Neusoft", 600718.SH), China's largest IT solution and service provider, has been certified with its PCMM Level 5 after examination and verification. This makes Neusoft the first PCMM Level 5 certified Chinese company, and also one of more than a dozen enterprises in the world that have been certified by both PCMM Level 5 and CMMI Level 5 through SCAMPI.

Neusoft officially passed the PCMM Level 5 appraisal from the SEI appraisers on June 30, 2011. According to the regulations of SEI, after nearly a month of examination and verification by the organization, then SEI's official website officially announced the news of Neusoft being certified the PCMM Level 5 on July 28, 2011. This is another milestone in improving human capital management following Neusoft's passed through PCMM Level 3 appraisal on July 10, 2008.

According to SEI's official website, PCMM, the People Capability Maturity Model, is designed to guide organizations in selecting activities for improving their workforce practices based on the current maturity of their workforce practices. The PCMM consists of five maturity levels which include Initial, Managed, Defined, Predictable, and Optimizing. The Optimizing Level is the highest level, which Neusoft has been certificated. The key process areas including personal competency development, coaching, and continuous workforce innovation at level 5 cover the issues that address continuous improvement of methods for developing competency, at both the organizational and the individual level.
