Approved by the state ministry of education, Neusoft Institute of Information, Dalian has 10 departments including computer science and technology, IT and business management, digital arts, English language, Japanese language, basic education, research and development management, graduate school, international education department and higher education department. These departments deliver multiple educational services including classes for ordinary full-time students, adult higher education, higher education examination programme for the self-taught, overseas student education and graduate education in cooperation with Northeastern University of China. Till date, the college has had a total enrollment of over 14,000 students.

Located in the beautiful seaside town of Dalian, the college covers a land area of 585,000 sq. meters, with an overall floorage of 303,000 sq. meters.

Neusoft Institute of Information, Dalian has established and maintained multiple forms of international co-operation with over 40 universities and colleges around the world. Some of them include the University of Adelaide and Swinburne University of Technology from Australia, University of Reading and Teesside University from England, University of Georgia from the US, Far east State Technical Fisheries University and East-Siberian State University of Technology from Russia, Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics from Japan and Konkuk University and Chungkang College of Cultural Industries from South Korea.
