    Overview

    DCIM is mainly used to monitor power, environmental, video, fire protection, and security protection equipment in equipment rooms, like power distribution equipment, air conditioning unit, UPS, water leakage detector, smoke sensor, access control, video equipment, infrared equipment, and other infrastructures. It displays detailed information including the real-time state and operation parameters of the monitored equipment, and in case of an alarm state or an alarm message, triggers the work order system automatically to urge relevant responsible personnel for handling in time. The system allows 2D planar, 2.5D bird view and 3D immersive panoramic display, and also advanced functions such as data center capacity management, energy consumption management, etc.

    DCAM is integrated with RFID and other IoT technologies, thus adaptive to the characteristics of data centers of the new generation. It can manage various facilities, equipment, intangible assets (software permit, etc.) and resources (e.g. space, band width, port, capacity, IP address, etc.) in data centers in the whole process throughout their life cycle, in an immersive panoramic asset visualized tracking and management mode by virtue of the virtual reality technology.
