Neusoft Starts Construction of its Third R&D Base in Wuhan, China
On September 21, 2022, the construction of Neusoft’s third R&D base was officially started in Wuhan, China. Following the Shenyang and Dalian R&D bases, this is an important move for Neusoft based on its development strategy and the industry prospects. This southern base of Neusoft will become a key hub for technology & product innovation, and a research center to support industrial ecosystem and application practices.
Located in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, this new R&D base will also have Neusoft’s research institutions for automotive electronics, intelligent healthcare, smart cities and other fields. It will fully integrate big data, AI, blockchain, 5G and other information technologies and be equipped with regional and national R&D centers, collaborative innovation laboratories, and other technological innovation resources. All these will help promote Neusoft’s strategic business layout, support the development in the south-central regions, and carry through the future-oriented key businesses growth.
The Wuhan R&D base is expected to come into service in the first quarter of 2024 and be able to accommodate more than 4,000 software engineers. It will speed up the large-scale development of major businesses, build the core competitiveness of software, and serve the clients in central, eastern, southern, northwestern and southwestern regions in China.
In addition, centering on the leading industries in Wuhan city and Hubei province, the new R&D base will deeply integrate information technology and urban development to build smart cities driven by big data, and lead the urban industrial transformation.
In the future, Neusoft will strengthen the ecological interactions among the three R&D bases in Shenyang, Dalian, and Wuhan, and work together with Neusoft Medical Systems, Neusoft Xikang, Neusoft Reach, Viewhigh Technology, Neusoft Hifly and other innovative companies, to explore the innovation and application of software technologies to empower clients and society and transform the future world and life.
