Besides this, the operational maintenance staff depend on the monitoring & control system more and more intensively. In order to ensure safe and stable operations of electric automatics and network monitoring & control system, it is necessary to improve operations and management of automatics. It is also necessary to use advanced technology solutions and management methods to perform online monitoring, defect treatment and operational analysis on a large number of automatics and to monitor the overall performance of the monitoring & control system.

Solution

The Neusoft-developed intelligent monitoring & control system for automatics of Hebei South Power Grid is composed of a master station system and a monitoring substation system. The system is designed with a distributed and multi-level structure which helps relieve the dependence among subsystems and enables the system to achieve linking in a more incompact way. The system also applies distribution technology that allows wide range of monitoring of electric automatics.

Success Story

The intelligent monitoring & control system consists of master station system and monitoring substation system. The intelligent monitoring master station system is built in Hebei Electric Power Corporation (HEP) on a basis of centralized construction. The management at different levels is able to access the HEP directly transported 220kV station and the B/S mode accessing system for electric power companies in sub regions in Hebei Province is able to ensure that each user has control right to automatics in its AOJ through control and distribution of rights & limits.

In order to ensure performance stability of the system, Neusoft, in cooperation with Nanrui for the construction of the substation system in 2010, sent specialized operators to execute uniform debugging. Neusoft also invited industry consultation experts and sent our technical director and professional operators to communicate with HEP on this project and eventually accomplished the construction of the Intelligent Monitoring & Control System to the full satisfaction of the customer.
