Project Overview

Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel Co., Ltd. has started information management early. Multiple management systems are applied in each division of the company. Through years of system operation, it has owned a sound base of theories and talents for R/3 implementation, which also brings a lot of complexities to the integration of SAP modules with peripheral systems. From April 2004 to January 2005, our SAP application consultants have worked with technical consultants to complete the launching and integration of varied functionalities systems including PDM design, online purchase publishing, quality management, barcode, Siyi inventory and CRM in Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel Parts Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel Founding Co., Ltd. This has provided an integrated information management for Chaoyang Diesel.

Implementation Scope

SAP ERP: PP, MM, SD, FI and CO;
CRM: System management, basic data management, after-sales service management and call center.

Objectives

Standardize and perfect business process, reduce random and repetitive work during corporate management, and improve management quality and efficiency.
Optimize resource allocation, build a complete resource planning system based on information systems, and improve the utilization of various resources.

Results

The following achievements have been made the implementation of ERP&CRM project:
Conduct a comprehensive management on the sales of complete machines and parts, including the integration of warehouse, delivery, sales, service and financial information.
Master production schedule enables the identification of car factories that have given orders or are the source of an order, and analyze orders by models.
Material requirements planning covering purchase orders and production orders is designed on the basis of master production schedule.
In order to ensure lean production, materials are fed in assembly sequence of models on task time according to assembly plan.
By strengthening the management of purchase and supplier information, supplier information and orders are easy to inquire about and confirm so that information interaction and management is carried out in a real-time manner.
Inventory management can meet the requirements of daily management of purchase business including receiving, delivery and stock as well as that of other related financial affairs.
This brings a more sound and effective management of financial affairs and cost.
