Computer-Aided Detection (CAD) Products

 

 

 

 

 

Medical CAD technology is used to perform image processing, image segmentation, pattern recognition, extraction of lesion features, classification of lesion features, and quantitative analysis of ROI (region of interest) so as to obtain valuable information and provide intelligent aid for clinical diagnosis.

Neusoft CAD products include MammoCAD, OsteoCAD, CardioCAD, LungCAD, UroCARE, PET/CT Fusion Workstation, and CT Perfusion. Notably, MammoCAD, CardioCAD and OsteoCAD are recognized as the first CAD products of a self-owned Chinese brand and have been approved by the State Food and Drug Administration of P.R. China (SFDA) successively in 2008. 


  • MammoCAD

    MammoCAD is the first CAD product approved by SFDA. Using standard mammograms, it can automatically detect micro-calcification clusters, mass tumors, stellate tumors and enlarged lymph nodes, greatly helping physicians improve the detection ratio of early breast cancer and reduce the occurrence of missed diagnosis.

  • OsteoCAD

    OsteoCAD transforms CT scanner into the ultimate bone densitometer. It can perform 3D analysis of two osteoporosis-sensitive body parts, spine and femur and output proximal femur and spine vertebra BMD values and bone structure parameters, assisting physicians in diagnosing osteoporosis and assessing the fracture risk. Moreover, it was approved by SFDA in 2008 and it is the only CT BMD measurement software in China approved by SFDA.

  • CardioCAD

    Based on coronary CTA images, CardioCAD can automatically identify and extract coronary arteries in the image data. It provides multiple views and 3D quantitative measurements and can assist physicians in the measurement and assessment of stenoses, plaque-lesions and stents in the coronary artery and finally help physicians identify and detect the diseases. Moreover, it was approved by SFDA in April, 2008.

  • LungCAD

    The LungCAD system is based on lung CT images and can independently run on PC, providing the functions of nodule detection, emphysema detection and quantitative analysis of lung function. It can clearly mark the lesion and display it in VR view; quantitative measurements are accurate and support query of historical record, helping physicians perform better diagnosis and follow-up.

  • CT Perfusion

    CT Perfusion is an image post-processing software package based on dynamic CT time-series images. It provides parametric images of cerebral blood flow (CBF), cerebral blood volume (CBV), mean transit time (MTT), time to peak (TTP), permeability surface area product (PS), and DT and can calculate the cerebral infarction region and savable region area together with the Mismatch value to assist physicians in the thrombolytic treatment and assessment of the prognosis and thrombolytic treatment effect.

  • PET/CT Fusion Workstation

    PET/CT Fusion Workstation is developed on the basis of PET and CT images acquired from the same or different scanners, providing the automatic/manual registration and fusion display of CT and PET images, simultaneous view of multi-view images and quantitative measurements to meet the working requirements of radiologists.
