History Milestones: 1989 Starting from the research lab, they began business cooperation with Japan' s Alpine with technical export and software outsourcing, which made Alpine their first international customer; 1990 The Software Research & Development Center was established with the Northeast Institute of Technology and released the slogan of "Bridging Software Research and Application"; 1991 OPENSOFT System Development Company was incorporated with the Northeast Institute of Technology; a joint venture, Neu-Alpine Software Research Institute (a limited liability company) was set up together with Japan' s Alpine; 1992 OPENSOFT System Development Company went through an ownership restructuring and was renamed as OPENSOFT System Co., Ltd. of Northeast Institute of Technology; 1993 OPENSOFT System Co., Ltd. of Northeast Institute of Technology merged with Neu-Alpine Software Research Institute to set up Shenyang Neu-Alpine Software Co., Ltd.; Software Research & Development Center of Northeast Institute of Technology changed its name to Northeastern University Software Center, which became China' s first National Engineering Research Center for Computer Software; 1995 The first university software park in China, Neusoft Park, was launched into construction; Neusoft merged the Northeastern University Computer Imaging Center to start its exploration in CT and other medical systems; 1996 Neusoft established, together with Toshiba, a joint venture, NETS Systems Integration Co., Ltd.; Neusoft Group Ltd. was incorporated; on June 18th, Neu-Alpine Software Co., Ltd. went public in Shanghai Stock Exchange, becoming the first listed software company in China; 1998 Neu-Alpine Software Co., Ltd. was approved by ISO9001 quality certification; Shanghai Baosteel Group invested into Neusoft; Neu-Alpine Digital Medical Systems Co., Ltd. was incorporated; The construction of Dalian Neusoft Park commenced; 1999 Dalian Neusoft Park was put into use; CT-C2000 series produced by Neu-Alpine Digital Medical Systems Co., Ltd. passed CE certification; 2000 Neusoft Institute of Information was launched to construction in Dalian; Neusoft set up subsidiaries in Hong Kong and US, respectively; Neusoft passed ISO9001:2000 certification; 2001 Neusoft implemented a brand integration strategy and create a uniform brand, "Neusoft"; Neu-Alpine was renamed as "Neusoft Co., Ltd. "; Neusoft set up a subsidiary company in Japan; Neusoft Co., Ltd. became the first CMM3-certified software company in China; 2002 Neusoft set up two other information institutes in Nanhai and Chengdu, respectively; Neusoft became the first CMM5-certified software company in China; Spiral CT-C3000 series produced by Neusoft Medical Systems was certified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA); 2003 A strategic restructuring was accomplished across Neusoft Group; Neusoft Park Industrial Development Co., Ltd. was incorporated; Neusoft MRI systems passed CE Certification; 2004 Philips and Neusoft Medical Systems Co., Ltd. was incorporated; Neusoft passed CMMI Level 5 Certification and became the first software company that obtained CMMI Level 5 Certification in China; Neusoft Institute of Information of Northeastern University (NEU) was established as an independent college of NEU; Philips invested into Neusoft Group and became a strategic investor of the Group; 2005 Neusoft Group released a new logo with more internationalized features and a new brand philosophy, "Beyond Technology"; Neusoft and Philips invested to establish Biomedical and Information Engineering School in cooperation with NEU and Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) of the Netherlands; 2006 Neusoft joined hands with SAP and Intel in a strategic alliance, which became strategic investors of Neusoft; Neusoft IT Service Co., Ltd. was established to start the BPO business; 2007 Neusoft was listed for the fourth time in the 2007 Global Services 100 and ranked No.1 Among Top 10 to Watch in Emerging Asian Markets; Also, Neusoft became the first Chinese company that entered the top 25 among the list of "2007 Global Outsourcing 100" issued by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP); Neusoft Software Talents Internship & Training Base broke ground within Shenyang Neusoft Park; Neusoft Co., Ltd.' s share-swap merger plan with Neusoft Group Ltd. was approved conditionally by the Restructuring Committee under the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), which indicated that the Group's overall listing plan was finally approved by the CSRC for immediate implementation.
